It’s never too late to straighten your teeth, improve your bite and feel genuinely confident in your smile.
More adults than ever are choosing orthodontic treatment, and it’s easy to see why. Modern techniques, digital planning and near invisible appliances mean you can straighten your teeth comfortably and discreetly, without interrupting your professional or personal life. At B Orthodontics, a significant number of our patients are adults, and we’ve built our treatment approach around what busy, lifestyle-conscious patients genuinely need.
Whether you’re addressing an issue that was never treated in childhood, correcting teeth that have shifted over the years, or preparing for restorative dental work, our specialist team will recommend the option that delivers the best result with minimal disruption to your everyday routine.

Orthodontic treatment as an adult is about far more than aesthetics. Straight, well aligned teeth are healthier, easier to clean, and function better for the long term, reducing wear, strain and the need for costly dental work down the track. Common concerns we address in adult patients include:

At B Orthodontics, adult orthodontic care is built around three key elements:
Depending on your case, treatment options for adults may include:
Most adult treatments take between 12 and 24 months, although simpler cases can finish sooner and more complex cases may take longer.
Your journey begins with a thorough, unhurried consultation. We’ll examine your teeth and bite, take digital photographs, and use a 3D intraoral scanner (and, where needed, X-rays) to build a complete picture of your orthodontic health. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what’s possible and how we’d recommend achieving it.
Your orthodontist will design a plan tailored to your goals, clinical needs and lifestyle. This includes recommended appliance options, expected treatment duration, a transparent quote with interest free payment plans available, and coordination with your dentist if restorative work is part of the plan.
You’ll visit us every 6 to 10 weeks so we can monitor progress, make adjustments, and provide new aligners if needed. Appointments are kept short and we work hard to fit in around busy schedules, including early morning and after work options where available.
Once your teeth have reached their ideal positions, we’ll carefully remove your braces (or any aligner attachments), polish your teeth smooth, and fit retainers to protect your new smile. Retention is especially important for adults, and we’ll design a plan that keeps your results beautifully stable for the long term.
